Know all men by these presents, That we John Ware, William Ware and Dabney McDaniel are held and firmly bound unto Archibald Robertson, John and William Beasley Tinsley Rucker and Benjamin Norvell in the just and full sum of twelve hundred dollars to be paid to the said Achibald Robertson John and William Beasley Tinsley Rucker and Benjamin Norvell their certain attorney, their executors, administrators or assigns; to the payment whereof well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, and each of us, our and each of our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals, and dated this 24th day of November 1832 The condition of the above obligation is such, That whereas the above bound John Ware together with Isaac Rucker, Thomas S Jordan Nathan G. Morris, William Bates, William McDaniel Isaac R Howard and Ormond Ware have obtained from the Circuit Superior Court of [Saward?] Chancery for the County of Amherst an injunction to inhibit the defendants to wit the said Archibald Robertson John and Wm Beasley, Tinsley Rucker, and Benjamin Norvell their agents attorneys &c from proceeding to sell the slaves Milly Dilda Joe and Sucky in the bill mentioned until the further order of the said Court; now if the above bound John Ware and the said Isaac Rucker, Thomas P Jordan Nathan G Morris William Bates William McDaniel, Isaac R Howard and Ormond Ware shall have the said slave forthcoming to abide the future order or decree of the Court in this cause touching said slave touching said slaves in the event of their being adjudged liable to sale for payment & satisfaction of the executions of the defendants then the above obligation to be void, or else to remain in full force and virtue.
