Mr. James Jarman Take notice that on Monday the 7th of February 1825 we shall take the deposition of John M. [Wisdemeyer?] at the tavern of Mr. Joel Brown in the town of Charlottesville between the hours of 7 in the morning & 4 in the evening (and if prevented from from proceeding by any unforeseen went on that day we shall take the deposition on the next day at the same place & between the same hours) to be read as evidence in a suit pending in the Superior Court of Chancery for the Lynchburg district wherein we are complaints & you with Phil C. Barbour & others are defendants at which time & place you can attend if you choose. 22nd. Nov. 1824

Lucy Johnson Bernard Johnson and others Albemarle County to wit. This day personally appeared before me a Justice of the Peace for the sd. county Robert L. [Nelson?] & made oath that he delivered a copy of the above notice to James Jarman on the 26th day of Novem. 1824 Jno. R. Jones [Seal]
