George Joiner, Plaintiff, vs Cornelia Eley, Defendant  }  In Chancery  This cause came on this day to be further heard upon the papers formerly read and upon the virdict of the jury upon the issue directed to be tried at the bar of this court, under the decree entered herein on the 24th day of July, 1901, "to ascertain and try whether the plaintiff, George Joiner, is to be deemed the legitimate child of George Joiner Sr. mentioned in the proceedings in this cause under section 2227 of the Code;"  and the jury upon said issue having, on the 18" day of October, 1901, rendered the following virdict:  "We the jury find that the plaintiff, George Joiner is to be deemed the legitimate child of George Joiner Sr. mentioned in the proceedings in this cause, under section 2227 of the Code," the Court doth approve and confirm the said virdict.  And the defendant in this cause, by her counsel, having agreed to pay to the plaintiff in this cause the sum of three hundred dollars
