The affidavit of James Young taken this 17th day of July 1851 at the tavern House of John M. Price at Halifax Courthouse to be read as evidence in taking an account in the Case of Williams & Trustee &c vs. Bacon trustee for McCargo taken before the Commissioner of the Circuit Superior Court of law and Chancery for the County of Halifax at the time and place appointed for taking said account This affiant being sworn saith that he is acquainted with the hand writing of Thomas McCargo, that the said Thomas McCargo name to the statement annexed dated the 7th November 1838 together with Statement above his Name is in the hand writing of the said McCargo to the best of his Knowledge and belief And further this affiant Saith not James Young Subscribed and sworn to before me this 17th day of July 1851 at the time and place in the Caption Joseph C Terry Comr To amt profits made for H Terry 1832 and 1833 $348 By Cash 122 226.00 Amt profit made 1833 - 1834 - 1835 in cash 1072.00
