Great Value to the estate for Fencing. Given under my Hand this day and date first above written Joseph Butterworth x his mark Question. did you hear Mrs. Terrell say that By the time she was done with the Land it should be Worth but Little to the Children of David Terrill Answer I did Qs. 2. you say there Was a Meadow on the Estate Which is Now a Corn Field except a small part. Was it at that time in good order and Considered Valuable. Ansr. It was so and thought Verry much of by Mrs. Terrell Her Self, having Cut Grass Sufficient for her won Stock and Several Tenites also. Qs. 3d. do you consider the Land on the West side of the creek which is cut by Bradly of as much Value Now as It Was before he cut it. Answer. Not one half and If I wanted to Purchase it I Would not give the one half as If the same Was never cut as there is no possiblity of ever puting the Land under a Fence as it is Chiefly Low grounds. Qs. 4th. Want you the Bearer of a Written notice to Bradley forbiding him Clearing the Land on the West side of the Creek when he Began to Cut the Same Ansr. I was.
