H.O.M.E. (Housing Opportunities Made Equal of Virginia, Inc.) is Virginia’s only nonprofit fair housing enforcement agency with the mission of ensuring equal access to housing for all people. In addition to enforcing and advocating for the best policies for all Virginians, the organization works to educate its neighbors. H.O.M.E. seeks to provide perspective on Richmond’s past and present, and invites the public to discuss how we can all work together to improve Richmond’s future. H.O.M.E. maps were created by Brian Koziol, Director of Research & HOME Consulting Services.
John Moeser, senior fellow at the University of Richmond's Bonner Center for Civic Engagement, provided three maps which address historic and contemporary areas of poverty in Richmond.
