OFFICE OF COMMONWEALTH PREPAREDNESS

Robert Crouch

The Office of Commonwealth Preparedness was created in the Office of the Governor to work with and through others – including federal, state, and local officials, as well as the private sector – to develop a seamless, coordinated security and preparedness strategy and implementation plan. The office also serves as the liaison between the Governor and the federal Department of Homeland Security.  Robert Crouch served as Assistant to the Governor for Commonwealth Preparedness during Governor Timothy M. Kaine’s Administration (2006-2010).

Per § 2.2-126 of the Code of Virginia, records of the Office of the Governor will be made accessible to the public after they have been processed by the Library of Virginia.
